Electronic Living was involved in every facet of the build, working in collaboration with Shaun Lockyer Architects and Thallon Mole Group. We brought our depth of technical knowledge to creating a smart home system that would enhance, not impede, the home's incredible architectural style, with its rich and timeless palette of blonde stones, bleached timbers, and zinc cladding.
At Electronic Living, we aim to remove the confusion from the myriad of various iOT (internet of Things) options available in today’s market, providing smart and innovative smart home systems that are tailored for absolute simplicity which provides todays modern families with a truly connected home.
In this home, it begins from arrival, with an intercom that rings the touch panels throughout the house, allowing the user to see who is at the door, and provide access to the guest if desired. Access control of the pedestrian gate, vehicle gate and garage door is also via touch panels and mobile devices. TVs can be controlled through AV control system via mobile devices, touch panel, and smart handheld remotes, while soundbars and discreet in-ceiling speakers throughout the house distribute audio, allowing the user to play their favourite playlist on Spotify (or any other music streaming app) through the high-fidelity speakers in the pool area, terrace, living, sitting, retreat, rumpus, gym, kitchen.
A state of the art security and CCTV system that can be viewed, monitored and controlled via touch panels throughout the home and available on each of the family members smart devices, providing the ability to monitor their home at all times.
Family members are notified on their smart devices if a security breach was to occur, and the security monitoring company is also immediately advised.
All equipment has been hidden from view within a dedicated communications room which offers convenient access and a mechanically ventilated thermostat-controlled environment helping prolong the life and reliability of the system.
